Fantastic Option

I have a FSHD, which has impacted my mobility. I had been using high-end walking sticks for help with balance, and mobility for over 10 years. The problem with sticks that are designed for able-bodied hikers and walkers is that they are not designed for weight bearing and I've broken more than one, trying to prevent a fall.

I was never able to find another option until these. I HIGHLY recommend these for anyone struggling with mobility. They are sturdy and give a level of confidence I haven't felt in years. The grips are super comfortable, I don't have to worry about breaking a wrist getting caught in straps, nor do I worry about "falling" onto a stick. I have recommended these to my OT person so she can let her other patients know. I frankly don't understand why more people don't use sticks in the US - versus clunky walkers or worse, not walking at all for fear of falling. These sticks provide independence. Thank you for the wonderful design!
